Volunteer for the Canmore Children’s Festival
Your gift of time will put smiles on thousands of faces! If you have at least 4 hours to give, the Canmore Children’s Festival Society is seeking whimsical individuals to volunteer in a number of areas for this year's Festival. Festival setup will take place the afternoon and evening of May 21 and Festival day is Saturday, May 22, 2010.
Areas of activity that require volunteers:
- Friday Set up
- Craft Circle
- Food Concession
- Box Office
- Front of House
- Morning Set up
- Evening Clean-up
- Front Gates
- Face Painting
- Workshops
- Play Area
- Storytellers Tent
What you get in return: Everyone who volunteers for at least 4 hours will receive a wonderful Kids Fest T-shirt; free food and beverage on the day; 1 free gate admission for a friend or family member; and, 1 free ticket to The Banff Centre/Children's Festival co-presentation of The Tooth Fairy on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 4:00PM.
